ERP Schools Programme - WEEE Educate

WEEE Educate is an innovative new schools programme created by the European Recycling Platform (ERP). The first competition in the series was launched on 12th March 2009; this is a design competition for 12-18 year-old secondary school students across 8 regions (Clare, Cavan, Louth, Meath, Monaghan, Kerry, Limerick, and Fingal) in Ireland.

ERP is Ireland’s only pan-European compliance scheme for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and waste battery recycling. Our message to teachers and pupils is clear, “if your unwanted electrical item has a plug or a battery, don’t put it in the bin, bring the used waste to your local recycling centre or an ERP Be Free Recycling Day near you!”
